| Description: | Fun With Oil-Sticks Instructor: Dan Nichols Learn to paint with Oil-Sticks, which are similar to soft oil pastels and can be used on any surface from canvas to matboard to watercolor paper, properly sized with gesso. This medium can be mixed by cross-hatching or blended easily with fingers or in conjunction with oils. We will work from still-life or from photos. The instructor works in most media, but finds Oil-Sticks easy to use for sketching or for complete paintings. No palette is required, and there is no pastel dust nor any need for water or turpentine.
