| Description: | 2012 will start in a simple, yet sophisticated way at THE GALLERY AT FIREHOUSE SQUARE in New London, Connecticut. Black & White with a Dash of Color will open with a reception on Friday, January 6, from 5 to 8pm, introducing you to a diverse group of artists and images that support our traditional view on local scenes, landscapes and the figure. Printmaker Fran Morey will display his art depicting the golden age of classic yacht racing in the early 1900s. Elaine Herman, George Grabel, Roger Beers, Karla M. Tate and Susan Jaworski-Stranc will present linoleum cuts, intaglio, etchings, graphite/pencil drawings and more. Black & White with a Dash of Color runs through February 25, 2012.
