| Description: | From Drawing to Painting - ongoing Classes Instructor: Bernard McTigue Learn to draw and apply those skills to your paintings. At first, basic drawing skills are taught, working with charcoal and paper. Absorbing the elements of composition along with an understanding of how light and shadow define form are crucial. Once the student has learned drawing skills, he/she will move on to painting. It is through learning that the strength of a painting consists of these basic elements of drawing that a professional painter illustrates an informed knowledge evident in their brushstroke. Instructor is an award winning artist and Lyme Academy graduate.
