| Description: | Seymour Founders' Day is an annual event held in the downtown area of Seymour, CT. Started 6 years ago, Seymour Founders' Day has become a town tradition and a fun event for the whole family. Featuring craft booths, food vendors, entertainment, and a children's area, the street fair draws about 18,000 people a year. The Seymour Founders' Day committee chooses a benefactor for each year's festival. This year proceeds raised will benefit Emil Senger American Legion Post 10, a nonprofit group working to help veteran's and educate youth. | ||
