| Description: | From 19th Annual Walnut Beach Arts & Crafts Festival Website: The Walnut Beach Association proudly hosts the 19th Annual Walnut Beach Arts & Crafts Festival on the first Sunday of August. Founded in 1999 and initially known as Walnut Beach Day, it is a celebration of our seashore community . Today the Festival welcomes 3,500 visitors and includes a 5K race on the morning of the event, a children's race, two free concerts at the pavilion, a multi-ethnic food court and an impressive array of artists and crafters from Connecticut and surrounding states.
