Description: Connecticut's newest festival addition, Riverfront Music Revival, has announced it's inaugural music lineup, a unique combination of Indie pop to New Orleans funk, reggae to bluegrass, and R&B to Americana Roots, inspired by the ever growing music scene in and around Connecticut.

Taking place Saturday June 9th and Sunday June 10th, the festival is a revival of all the musical senses with something for everyone. Created by the shared vision of Directors Derek Signore and Nicole Heriot-Mikula who also helm Shelton's annual Soupstock Festival, they have unveiled a lineup celebrating the best in local talent headlined by national touring acts. Headlining performers include Ripe, Mates of State, Gangstagrass, and Brother Joscephus & the Love Revolution. The Main Stage is rounded out with local favorites The Alpaca Gnomes, Creamery Station and Fattie Roots as well as regional sought-after artists such as Kat Wright, The Southern Belles, The Big Takeover and Nardy Boy. A second stage, the Emerging Artists stage, will be highlighting budding local bands such as: Pat Stone & The Dirty Boots, One Time Weekend, James Darling & The Nuclear Heartbreak, The Haunting Titans, Joon, Laini & The Wildfire as well as seasoned artists closing out each day, Jay Russell & The Split Coils and Jen Durkin & The Business.

Riverfront Music Revival is not only a celebration of music but will also feature the area's most acclaimed local food trucks, a variety of great craft beer from New Belgium Brewery and handcrafted drinks by Tito's Vodka. The Vendor Village will be comprised of over 50 handmade artisans and non-profit organizations, a Rejuvenate & Relaxation Wellness Area which will have a full offering of wellness services and workshops, a Piece of Mind: Poetry & Words performance tent that will include an Open Mic on Saturday and Poetry Slam with Grand Prize on Sunday. Last but not least, a large Family Fun Zone catering to children 12 & under will offer activities all weekend long including a festival-wide Puppet Parade on Sunday at 4pm. Kids Hour, highlighting Jay & Ray "Jams for Fams" will kick off the festival both days at 11am. Children 12 & Under are Free.

The festival has partnered with End Hunger Connecticut! in an effort to raise funds and awareness for the non-profit organization, which is dedicated to ending hunger in the state by promoting access to good nutrition through federal nutrition assistance programs, speaking out to raise awareness of hunger, and advocating change for local, state and national programs. Learn more: www.********.***
